Bangladesh Navy Dockyard Technical Institute (BNDTI), established in 2009, is committed to delivering high-quality technical education and vocational training. Affiliated with the Bangladesh Technical Education Board, BNDTI offers a diverse array of courses, including General Electronics, General Electrician, Auto Mechanics, Diesel Mechanics, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Welding & Fabrications, Machinist, Plumbing and Pipe Fitting, as well as creative fields like web design and graphic design. Complementing BNDTI's efforts are the Technical Training Centres at Khulna Shipyard, Dockyard and Engineering Works in Narayanganj and Chittagong Dry Dock. Plans to establish one more Maritime University in Barishal under the BN supervision and convert the School of Logistics and Management (SOLAM) into a Khulna campus for Maritime University are also pivotal.
