SCHOOL OF LOGISTICS AND MANAGEMENT (SOLAM)

The School of Logistics and Management (SOLAM) is the only logistics training base of the Bangladesh Navy which is located in Lobonchora, Khulna District. This key logistics training establishment operates its activities under the jurisdiction of Commander Khulna Naval Area (COMKHUL).

SOLAM was initially established as the School of Supply and Secretariat (S&S) in 1976 under the shed of BNS SHAHEED MOAZZEM. The unit was relocated to BNS TITUMIR in 1978 and later renamed as the School of Logistics and Management (SOLAM) at its current location in 2008. The logistic training base was formally inaugurated on 5 March 2011 and got commissioned on 17 April 2016.

SOLAM provides modern and effective training to officers and sailors of the logistics branch. The purpose is to produce skilled manpower to fulfill the operational and administrative needs of the Bangladesh Navy. The base plays a crucial role in enhancing the logistics capabilities of the fleet and ensures the efficient operation of naval resources.
