Bangladesh Navy is capable of carrying out various Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) activities. Natural calamities are common phenomena in Bangladesh. During any sort of such disasters Bangladesh Navy acts in the forefront to help the distressed people. LCTs, high speed boats and multi role surface ships are utilized in such activities. Moreover, Bangladesh Navy actively provides HADR to the neighbouring countries as well.
