BNS HAJI MOHSIN Sick Bay is the Mini Hospital of Bangladesh navy. BNS HM was commissioned on 10th December 1974 and sickbay was built on 19th April 2018. It has given all kinds of Medical and first aid support to the serve and Retd Officers, Sailors and Civilians of Dhaka Naval Area.
BNS HM sickbay provides a variety of medical support includes Emergency medical support, Outdoor patient support by specialists of Medicine, Cardiology, Eye, ENT, Skin, Gynae and Obs, Physical Medicine and Dental. Patients can also do various Laboratory and Radiological tests in this sickbay. Apart from these, Sickbay is also responsible for the EPI vaccination which is done in our CW & MC.
HAJI MOHSIN is also engaged in newly emerging health challenging like Covid & Flood affected area. Dhaka Naval area for example the role it played during Covid 19 lockdown or during floods of 2024 in Fulgazi is exemplary. Sickbay is also vigilant in ensuring awareness in up to date topics for example taking classes on Dengue, Hypertension and Heart diseases. So that they can keep themselves away from all these diseases.
