Bangladesh Navy Dockyard Technical Institute (in short BNTI) was inaugurated in July 2009 to run 06 months trade technical Courses for the Jobless & interested male and female under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of BN. Presently BNTI is operating 07 Trade courses , namely General Electrician , Diesel Mechanics, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Automotive Mechanics , Consumer Electronics , Plumbing & Pipe Fitting and Machinist. BNTI is appellated under Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB) to run these courses. BNTI is also enlisted under Accelerating and Strengthening Skill for Economic Transformation (ASSET) to run Stipend Bases Free technical courses on five occupations, a joint project of Bangladesh Government and World Bank.
