Every child is the special creation of the Almighty. Any child may experience challenges with their learning at different stages. Many children overcome these difficulties with support from teachers, surroundings, and family members. However, children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) are likely to need extra or different help to be able to learn. ‘Ashar Alo’, a platform raised by Bangladesh Navy, supports special education through a multifaceted training program for special children.

Historical Background

‘Ashar Alo’ started her noble journey on 10 June 2003 with a goal to provide training and treatment for special children. The school was inaugurated by the President of Bangladesh Navy Family Welfare Association (BNFWA) at BNS ISSA KHAN, Chattogram. Over time, to support the increased number of students, its activities were extended, and the school was shifted to its present site. Consequently, the foundation stone for its own building and other infrastructure was laid on 6 June 2010. ‘Ashar Alo’ has extended its services with branches in Chattogram, Khulna, and Dhaka.
